Jemimah is a freelance journalist, writer and editor based in Melbourne.

For the past year, she has been covering the News Editor role at REA Group on a maternity leave contract. During this time she was instrumental in growing the audience of both realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au’s news sections.

From 2020 to 2023, she was the editor of Melbourne lifestyle magazine Domain Review, finding and shaping truly ‘Melbourne’ stories – from our amazing hospitality scene to the people who live here and make the city great.

Prior to this, she was a journalist for Domain News, writing news and features on the property market, housing, planning and all aspects of how and where people live.

Before that, Jemimah was a lifestyle journalist for Domain Review (formerly The Weekly Review), where she worked for two and a half years.

Her articles have been published in print and online in publications including The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Herald Sun, news.com.au, realestate.com.au and Domain magazine.

Jemimah holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism with distinction from RMIT University (2014) and a Bachelor of Arts from Swinburne University (2012).

In a former life, she was a singer, dancer and actor and completed a Certificate II in Music Theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2005.

She lives in Melbourne’s inner-north with her husband and two young daughters.
